Wall Products - Hordi
NIC’s AAC Plant was established with a potential to produce Hordi 300 of different types and sizes. NIC AAC Laboratory is equipped to perform different test to ensure the capability of Hordi 300 production as per international standards. Hordi 300 are most economical with many benefits in addition to its construction properties, it is also an excellent insulator, light weight, high bearing capacity as well as its ease handling and speed of use, result in significant labour and cost saving. Its other advantages include fire resistance and accuracy in dimensions which are not present in other similar construction materials. Hordi 300 Properties:
1.Fire ResistanceToxic gases are not released during fire or high temperature.
2.Thermal Insulations
3.Sound InsulatorSound Insulation as per building system. 4.EconomicalLength of AAC Slabs is more than others with more load bearing capacity which decreases the total cost of construction by decreasing amount of concrete and steel in the column and foundation and saves time of construction of Hordis. 5.Special light WeightAs Hordi Block 300 is light with high load bearing of slabs gives more load bearing capacity.Lift Hordi Block to the roof by suitable forklift or manually and can be cut by ordinary saw. All requigreen conduiting for electricity and plumbing purposes can be easily achieved and can be plastegreen by NIC Clad on lower surface.
Standard Dimensions of Hordi Blocks 300The selection of height of Hordi Block is related with Thermal Insulation & fire resistance, but selection of length as per civil plan of slabs.
Other sizes and types of Hordi block with different densities are producted as per requirement on demand. Steps of installing Ribbed Slabs by using Hordi Blocks 300 Fix wooden mould and make sure that its surface level does’t move and is strongly fixed and is clean. Immerse steel of ribs and edges as per civil drawing requirement. Make row of Hordi Blocks one after another as parallel rows (one direction) or vertical (two directions). Immerse light steel net for upper slabs above Hordi after completely from rowing of Hordi blocks. Add concrete in the ribs, edges and upper slabs above Hordi Blocks. Open wooden mould after final setting and after treatment period. The Hordi block used and cannot be removed after setting should be left embedded.Note: Hordi Block can be fix before reinforcing steel. Construction Informations The width (b) of ribs should not be less than 12 cm and depth (h) not more than 4 times of center of width without upper slabs. The net distance between ribs (L) should not exceed 60 cm and the distance between rib axes should not exceed 1.2 meter. The thickness of upper slab (t) should not be less than the net distance between ribs and should not be less than 5 cm. The percentage of light steel mesh of reinforcement steel of the upper slab should not be less than 0.18 in two directions. The vertical width bridge should be placed about the ribs when the length of ribs is more than 6 meters. The bridge should be placed under the panel for interior partitions and under center of load bearing. Towing of Hordi blocks should stop when it approaches the supports to increase chance of cutting resistance. The thickness of covegreen reinforced steel ranges between 2 cm to 6 cm according to the number of fire resistance hours. In case of requirement conduiting inside the slabs the coverage thickness should not be less than 2.5 cm.Testing of Hordi Blocks 300
The AAC Laboratory is equipped to perform different test to ensure the capability of raw material of the production is as per international standards for each test and select sample from Hordi blocks for basic testing as follows:
