Pipes & Fittings > HDPE Pipes
"HDPE
Pipe" factory was established in 2002 in response
to the ever increasing demand in Kuwait and neighbouring
countries. This factory is considered one of the largest
in the Middle East, with an annual production capacity
reaching 2,000 metric tones of HDPE pipes and fittings.
HDPE pipes ranges from 400 to 4000mm, and are produced
in accordance with international standard including;
German (DIN), British (BS), European (ISO), American
(ASTM), Saudi Arabia and kuwaiti Standards. HDPE Pipe
factory is capable of producing its products to other
standards when required by our clients.
NIC-HDPE pipes manufactured from HDPE and PP feature high quality
levels. All tests anticipated with in the relevent standards
are implemented at every stage of the production starting
right from the introduction of raw materials. The results
of the test are continuously monitered and the relevent
documentation regarding the welding operations performed
both by us and user is taken into consideration. The service life of NIC-HDPE pipes which are proved
to be successful during the test performed for 1 minute,
24 hours and 2000 hours as per DIN 19537 is 50 years minimum.
NIC manufactures the following types of HDPE Pipes:
Pressure Pipes
HDPE pipes have been used extensively for drinking water distribution throughout Europe for over 40 years and have proven to be safe and reliable for this application. PE pipe is generally resistant to the chemicals commonly used for water treatment and disinfection. HDPE PE 100 is an exciting material, being used for the manufacture of “NIC HDPE” pipes suitable for following applications.
Civil engineering: Used for portable water, normal water supply, drainage pipeline, natural gas, heating and cooling system pipe lines, closed loop refrigeration and house cooling system, sewerage treatment plants, subsoil drainage pipes, fire water mains, house connection and plumbing.
Oil field: Used for crude collecting, sewage disposal, crude transportation, finished petroleum conveyance, transportation of polymer solution to wells etc. It is especially suitable for transportation of mediums of oil, gas, and water with high sulfur content. Also best suitable for sea water intake pipes.
Chemical industry: Applicable to acid, alkali & salt manufacture, petrochemical industry, chemical fertilizer production, pesticide production & pharmacy, etc for process tubing & drainage pipelines to convey corrosive mediums.
Ship building: Used for living pipeline system, structural & waste water pipeline.
Coal mines: Used for transportation of coal-water slurries, coal bed gas & ash, etc.
Electrical engineering: Fiber optic cable ducts, inner ducts, electrical conduits, etc.
Agriculture: Water supply and drainage pipes, Drip irrigation system, Bore well liners.
Others: Metallurgical industry, food industry, compressed air pipes, etc.

PPR Pipes and Fittings
Polypropylene Random copolymer (PPR) system "NIC PPR" is ideal for all potable water piping requirements in typical residential (single and multistory), motel/hotel, mobile home, site offices, manufactured housing, Green houses, farms, light commercial and institutional structures. Typical uses of PPR pipes are as follows.
Hot and cold water pressure pipes.
Drinking water pressure pipes. (potable water).
Heating, air-conditioning & chilled water pressure pipes.
Irrigation pipes for green houses, garden and farms.
Compressed air conveying pipes.
Industrial Fluid conveying pipes.

Advantages of PPR
Provides high resistance to chemicals, acids and other materials like lime and cement with which pipes may come into contact.
Poor electrical conductor, so pipes are not damaged by stray currents.
Excellent noise damping property, which is useful in places like hotels and hospitals.
Low thermal conductivity prevents heat loss when used in heating or cooling system.
Non toxic and complies with relevant international standards to use with drinking water.
Very smooth inner surface prevents pressure loss and also prevents sedimentary crusting inside pipe.
Light weight so easy to install and welding gives perfect leak proof joint.
Cable Duct Pipes
Benefits:
30% less friction than PVC, thus while pulling cables, it experiences less stress.
Because of flexibility, HDPE duct eliminates need for special bends and sweeps.
Faster installation and reduced labor costs.
Fewer joints—better system integrity as duct is supplied in long length coils.
Duct can be pulled over inside outer duct for long distances with minimum elongation.
Wide variety of colours helps in easy identification when used as multiple inner ducts.
High crushing strength protects cable.
Applications of Cable Duct Pipes
Sub Duct (Inner-duct) – Divides larger conduits by pulling multiple smaller conduits.
Direct Burial – Directly burying one or more polyethylene conduits to make a single or multiple conduit system via installation methods such as trenching, plowing or directionally boring.
Available Colors of Cable Duct Pipes
Red for power cables.
Green, Gray, Yellow & Orange for communication / fiber optic cables.
Black having strips of different colors (for easy identification) for communication / fiber optic cables.
Gray for general purpose.
Other colors can be made upon request.
