National Industries Company (NIC) - which specializes in manufacturing and marketing building materials and infrastructure products - is a subsidiary of the National Industries Group, which is a holding group that owns several industrial and financial companies in the Middle East, Europe and North America.

NIC was founded in 1960. It is one of the most firmly established Kuwaiti companies, and it has the largest industrial complex for construction materials in the middle east .

The Company has achieved continuous success and increasing profits. It works in the field of manufacturing building materials and concrete pipes for infrastructure uses. It also produces plastic pipes and fittings and extracts rocks. The Company relies on 1,200 employees to manufacture and market its different products in local and regional markets.

Production is carried out in two groups of factories. These are the Abdullah Port Factory Complex and the Sulaibiya Factory Complex.

The Abdullah Port Factory Complex includes the following factories:

1. A factory for Sand Lime Brick and limestone products.
2. A factory for Lime.
3. A factory for Limestone Filler.
4. An industrial plastic factory.
5. A White Brick factory.
6. A factory for Mortar and Cladding.

The Sulaibiya Factory Complex includes the following factories:

1. A factory for NIC Readymix.
2. A concrete pipe factory which produces pipes and fittings for sewage and rainwater networks.
3. A factory for NIC Tiles and Kerbstones.
4. An interlocking tile factory.

All factories have achieved an ISO 9001 Certificate of Excellence.
